Confused about why Play Store shows Spotify makes In-app purchases?

Hello all!

I'm thinking about subscribing but I'm quite confused. I'm currently using Google Wallet for managing other subscriptions and I've seen that Google Play Store shows Spotify app make "in-app purchase", supposedly through Google in-app Billing.

But when you actually subscribe in-app the billing process is carried out through an external Spotify webview. Can I suscribe Spotify via Google Billing Service? So, why Play Store shows Spotify uses in-app purchases?

Hi there, if I remember itwas trialled to be able to subscribe using a Google wallet account... however for some reason Google integration was shortly removed again however I guess the permission is still there to make an easy switch back on if decided at a later date to do so.
