I think that it should show something instead of being completely blank. I have 2 ideas: 1) Spotify saves the most recently played song and display that while the app is not running, much like the default GS5 app does with its widget, or do something like the image I have drafted in which some text was displayed. It looks much better, and I am wondering what the community feels about this.
