Hello,

I've been having some troubles with spotify. I have a Samung Galaxy SIII mini; everything seems to be working just fine except for the fact that it is very slow, but once the screen is locked, it is impossible to turn it on again so I have to take off the battery. The phone works with any other app, so it is spotify related. At first I thought my phone was broken, but after doing a hard reset, etc, I found out that it only happens with spotify.

I have tried:

-to clear all data, cache, etc

-to reinstall the app from different sources

-follow the steps you posted on the troubleshoot section

I don't know why this is happening, but it is quite annoying. It seems that I'm not the only one having this problem, so I would appreciate that if anyone knows how to fix this issue, please let us know! It is very annoying because I'm paying premium and I can't even use it on my phone.

Hey @merparnell are you still having this issue with your app?

If so could you please confirm the following details for us:

1. The Spotify app version currently installed

2. The current OS on your device

When you say it's impossible to turn it on again, do you mean you can't unlock your phone again?

I just installed the latest version of Spotify (no idea what version it was whatever is on Google Play) on my Galazy J5 and played about 30 seconds of a song when the phone just started screaming with a continuous buzz and the whole phone is locked ie I can't even power it off, and as the battery in not accessible on this modell I have had to shut it in a cupboard just to get some peace, where it will stay until the battery has expired!
I'm not happy at all!

Exactly the same for me, I didn't complain when I had performances issues on my old phone, but having Spotify getting slow as **bleep** and eventually making my BRAND NEW Xperia XZ phone restart on its own is unacceptable for a service so expensive !
