Premium member, getting adverts?

Hi all

I'm a premium member through my mobile phone contract (vodafone) yet I'm getting popup adverts on the Spotify app which never happened before.

I'm still able to have things offline and there are no adverts in the music but these popups are frustrating.

Isn't this defeting part of the reason to go premiom?

I'll get a screenshot next time one pops up.

It's weird... Have you tried logging out/logging in, reinstalling the app...?

If it doesn't work, you should contact with Spotify Consumer Support filling this contact form, or tweeting to @SpotifyCares (ENG), @SpotifyAyuda (ESP) or @SpotifyAjuda (PT).

If you receive an automated email that leads you back to the community or help pages, reply to it (even if it's from "no-reply") and one of the Spotify team members will get back to you as soon as possible.

There are no pop-up adverts... I wonder if you're talking about notifications? Check the Spotify App Settings and disable any notifications.

Else it may actually be another app doing it?

I'm actually suspecting another app to be the cause of the issue to be honest.

I'm overdue a purge on my phone anyway.

I thought it was Spotify because it's where i seem to be seeing the adverts the most.

However, it's problably the number one reason I look at my phone.

That's definately not Spotify. I think you should try running some form of antivirus / malware cleaner

I don't know if my question encounters this one but I do get the "message from certain artists" on my playlist. Example: T.I's message for Hip-hop monsters, Rick Ross ln hip-hop monsters, etc.
