offline albums constantly dissappearing

Hey all,

I am using Spotify Premium on an Android phone, a Mac Airbock and a Windows Laptop at work.

However, since the latest update all 'saved' albums and artists do not appear on the android phone anymore (Version 4.2.2). On the Mac and the Windows laptop nothing changed.

Also, I tried saving some manually so I can use them offline but they also dissappear again after a few days.

Strangely enough, this does not affect playlist. They sync as usual and stay this way.

Gotta say, find this highly annoying cause time and again when on the move, I realize that most music is not there to listen to anymore...

Anyone have n idea how to fix this? Would be highly appreciated! thanks!

Hi there, I've seen a few cases of this and the issue has been that the user has a cache/file cleaning app such as CleanMaster installed which is cleaning the cached offline data. Do you have any apps like this installed at all? If so, can you try either adding Spotify to the Whitelist or disabling the app altogether and seeing how it goes.

thanks! Yes, I have 360 security running so that may be it. Will try it later tonight if this is causing it. Still a bit weird since that never was an issue before. And equally weird that it only affects albums/artists but not playlists.

However, will report back in a bit!

Just out of curiosity is it only 'newly' saved music that's missing or older ones?

I've noticed a few saved playlists not appearing in the latest app; and another user has confirmed this recently also. I'm waiting to see if it's fixed in the next update else I will raise it as a bug.

no, it was only old stuff. and also not playlists but only saved albums, artists and songs. the old playlists are all still there.

I then tried to save some more again directly on the phone but after a few days they were gone again as well.

okay. back home now with some decent wifi.

saved some albums and cleared the cache - that did not change anything. they were all still there.

restarted the phone to see if that changes anything - they were all still there.

then uninstalled spotify and re-installed it. this apparently did the trick. I instantly saw all the saved albums/artists songs again (which were gone before)

Hope I just had a bug or something during the update I did before.

Either way, will watch it and report back in a couple of days if they are still there.
