Local content stops playback when service is lost

Over the past few days, I've noticed that playback of my local media will stop when I lose data service. I can go back to the app and restart the song I was listening to, but then playback will stop again once service is restored. I'm on Android 4.4.4 and Spotify app 2.5.0.942.

Extremely annoying... I remember having this issue a while back, but it was fixed. Seems like its back.

Hello.

Thats known problem, i have the same. When i turn on 4g on my smartphone playback stops. The sami thing when i turn it off. I hope this will be fixed soon.

this does not happen only when service is lost, this happen with offline songs too, with wifi or 3g. the app is freezing because of nothing

Noticing a few reports of this. Hopefully fixed in the next update, you can always try rolling back to a previous working version. Links in my sig
