Hi guys,

Not sure if it is Lollipop or is it Spotify's new version. Now Spotify sync with other devices, seems to be a great features but not to be honest, most of the time I just don't care what's playing on my laptop. Worst of all, I realized that it keep updating the information in notification drawer and also the apps. Because of that it also wake up the lyrics matching apps so battery is running up super fast after the update even if I haven't use it!

Is there a way to turn off Spotify completely (not even at the background) in Android? Thanks!

Hi, and welcome to the community!

Unfortunately there is no exclusive way to do this as far as I know.

The best option I can think of is to enable offline mode in your phone Spotify app settings to it won't connect to your computer and synchronise what track is playing.
