Slow and buggy please help

Platform: HTC One M8 Verizon Current OS.

My spotify has repeatedly shown a black screen with the three bar button in the top left. I click to see my playlists and there are multiple minutes of lag.

I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled 3 times over the last three months. I have tried to close other applications and it seems Clash Of Clans does have some affect on the program.

This is the only applicatoin i pay for 120$ a year and it is the only one that doesn't consistantly work. I bought the application to play music in my car and with a long setup it has not been valuable. Please fix this issue or contact me. I have already started a trial of Google Music and it's application loads much quicker.

Is this issue only on startup or is it whenever you turn the display on?

I have the same phone as you, on Verizon, and I have also had some very frustrating moments with the Spotify app. It is often very slow, and takes way too long to load playlists, artists, current playing music, etc.
