Spotify Doesn't Work!!!

Spotify - the icon- doesn't appear on the notifications bar on my device even while the app is running background. I have to click the icon on the menu every single time to see what I'm listening to. I guess it is because of the Musicxmatch app which I downloaded to see lyrics.

How could I fix that? If try reinstalling, will all the information - playlists for instance - be deleted?

You'll need to re-sync music if you're a Premium user.

I am not a premium user so all the information goes away if I try reinstalling?

No, no information goes away then you can totally reinstall and see if this fixes it for you.

I re-installed it and the problem has been solved. I don't know what it was stemmed from.
