How to deactivate shuffle mode

Hi guys

I'm using Android 4.4.2 and Spotify 2.8.0.1081 with a premium account.

The issue is sometimes I can't deactivate the shuffle mode of playlists or albums.

Let's say the shuffle mode is off. I start a playlist with the shuffle button. Everyting is fine, Spotify is playing the list in shuffle mode.

Now I open another playlist and start the list not with the shuffle button but with click on the first track.

This playlist will also be played in shuffle mode. When I open the main player I see the green shuffle active symbol. But unfortunatelly it isn't possible to deactivate shuffle. Same issue when I start a Album instead of a playlist.

How can I play playlists and albums in the original order?

Some days later the shuffle mode is deactivate automatically and I don't know why.

What is the trick to activate and deactivate shuffle manually?

Any help would be appreciated.

That's odd. You should be able to deactivate it. Can you try a clean install using the troubleshooting guide linked in my signature?

Hi Daniel,

thank you for your help.

I've deleted all files and settings from my phone and have uninstalled Spotify.

After the reinstallation it seems to work better now.
