Equilizer does not work

Hi,

I have a new note 5 (920c version). My previous phone was note 4. On my new phone samsung equlizer (or any other equilizer) does not effect music at all. However equilizers workd in google music.

I think there is a problem with android 5.1 and spotify. By the way i tried disabling the nuplayer which does not work.

Note: I reach the system wide equilizer from the spotify setting menu.

Any help would be appropriated.

Are you streaming or playing a song with the highest quality? When you use the EQ could you turn off surrond option?

Hi thanks for the reply. It does not work neither while streaming nor from
downloaded song. Sorround is not enabled only bass is increased.
