spotify fails to launch

About 3 days ago after an update, Spotify stopped working. I am a premium member and am trying to get it to work again.

Brief description of the issue: Everytime i try to start spotify, it goes black, then says "Unfortunetly, SPotify has stopped working"

Steps to reproduce the issue: Pushing the SPotify Icon

First I did this: I completely uninstalled Spotify.Reinstalled it.
Then I did that I installed Avast Mobile Security to scan my device for viruses. None were found. All files scanned.
I also did this Followed the guide for removal.

What steps you’ve tried already:

Your device and operating system Samsung Avant. Droid 4.2.2

Type of Spotify account you have Premium

The app version of Spotify you’re using:Latest

Last I'm going to try to remove the SD card to see if it makes any difference.

Except I have the problem with iOS7.1.2. I downloaded Spotify 3.7.0 and now after entering username and password it cashes. I have tried re- setting my phone and re-installing the app twice. I have also tried creating a new account - same result! I also have a Premium account.

Hello,

If nothing solves the issue for you, we need to go deeper and check android logs.

For me the best way to read it is using Alogcat from Google Play store.

Once spotify crashes, make sure to open alogcat and screenshot ( or save it ) the output.

Then you can attach it here, so I can take a look : )

I fixed the issue with iOS7.1.2 by backing up and then restoring from backup in iTunes
