Use internal and external storage for Spotify

So after some searching on the internet, I couldn't find the right answer. That's why I'm asking it here.

Is it possible to let Spotify use both the internal SD and the external SD. I actually bought the external SD for Spotify, but now I notice I can't get them worked both at the same time.

If it doesn't work, do you guys and girls know an alternative that does work this way?
