Music stops playing randomly. No fix yet ?!

So I recently updated to Spotify Premium after using Spotify unlimited for about 5 years just because I had bought a smartphone recently. Ever since I've been using the app the music is stopping randomly for no apparent reason. I'm aware that this problem has been experienced before by other users, but I haven't found any answer to my question. So the thing is that I'm paying about 10 euros every month for an applicationf that stops working every 5 minutes...
I think I've tried everything so far but nothing works. Do you have any idea how this problem could be solved?
My configuration is: Sony Xperia E 4G with android 4.4.4. This happens both when I'm using the application online and offline. My Wi-Fi is always activated even when in sleeping mode, and I have no Wi-Fi optimization activated

Usually a clean install is the first step to take and resolves most of the usual issues; the guide details the steps to take to ensure a full 'clean installation' is achieved - This includes checking redundant folders and a REBOOT!
