Spotify Android Doesn't Connect to WiFi on Android

I recently purchased a HTC One M9, and I can't seem to get Spotify to work on WiFi. Spotify works on WiFi on all of my other devices (iOS, OSX, Windows), but it can't seen to connect my M9. Spotify does work on the phone over data. I haven't tested other networks yet, but I have tried re-installing and turning off WiFi data saving.

Hello there @jeeprace98!

Have you tried a full clean reinstallation? To do that:

From the home screen, tap Settings > Apps.
Find Spotify in your list of apps.
If you're able to, tap Clear Data and Clear Cache.
Tap Uninstall to remove the app.
Turn your device off and then back on.
Open Google Play then search for and install the Spotify Music app.

Thanks for the suggestion, @DasPeter. I attempted it, but the app had the same issue, and would only log in and work using Data. I found another odd thing however. Sometimes I can switch from data to WiFi after a few minutes of listening and it will work for the rest of the session on WiFi. It's sort of like a car that wont start, haha.

I think the issue might be the WiFi connection.
All other apps work properly through WiFi right?
You said you haven't tried on another connection right? I feel it might be worth testing.

Please let me know if anything happens.
Sometimes issues disappear from one day to another.

So, I didn't have any extra WiFi networks around, so I used mobile hotspot, which Spotify worked fine on. I think you may be right, that the issue is with my router's setup.
