Sorting order Android VS Desktop

Why is the sorting order when sorting on (for example) song/title different for android and desktop version?

The desktop does:

( A B C D ... Z

Android does:

A B C D ... Z (

Non alphabet chars are sort different on both devices.

I guess this is just a quirk due to different development teams. I'll flag it to the Android guys and see what they say.
