Playing local files on phone (android)

The Problem!

My phone will not download or play local files from my laptop on my phone.

1. All my Local files play in spotify on my laptop.

2. When I press the available offline button in my playlist with local files in it. It says " waiting to download. "

3. The local files are MP3 files.

4. I have older local files from a diffirent pc that download and play perfectly.

5. the app have been deleted and reinstald (with the same problem)

6. I have about 1500 song offline so i got about 1800 more to go.

I can't find a solution on the forums. And i can't get in contact with spotify.
Can someone please help me solve this problem.

Sounds like a network issue, check windows firewall is allowing Spotify inbound & outbound connections. Also check any other firewalls you may have installed (internet protection, antivirus etc)

Thanks you for the fast reply.
I am sad to say that I have already checked this. I just forgot to write it down. My apologies.

I'm running the normal/pre installed windows firewall and AVG free.

I have checked the windows firewall and AVG free does not have a firewall.

Can it be any setting on my phone? Not found any.

You say you have other local files from another pc which download and play perfectly. This to me implies that there is some issue on the desktop you are using now. Have you enabled network discovery?
