Troubleshout on 5Ghz Network

Hello everybody,

I face a problem with Spotify since i have changed my router, now the network in house is 5Ghz.

My phone is a Nexus 5 (not a 2015, the first one) and i'm connected to this network, i can browse internet, play internet games but when i open Spotify it is telling me that i am offline (i have not the offline option activated in the Spotoify's menu).

I've tried to logout, login, clear cache, uninstall... sometimes it works but mainly not, barely always as offline. By the way if i desactive the wifi and go mobile 4g network, it works like a charm 🙂

Someone faced the same problem ? Any solution ? Didn't find anything for now.

It may be your router is blocking the ports required for SPotify. Have a read of the guide linked in my signature to try and fix this
