What exactly have you tried?

If you could, please try the following.

1. Restart your device.

2. Uninstall the application, restart your device, and re-install the application.

Could you explain what you mean by not working? Is the application not opening up, does it open but not play music, etc...?

When I open the app..it just goes into a black screen and then comes straight back out.cant even see my music.

Alright how about this then.

On your android device go to settings and look for applications. In general it should be easy to find but it varies by device as each manufacturer has their own skin.

Once you find applications and have them all listed look for the Spotify app. Click on it and it should give you a bunch of information. You should also see two buttons, one for clearing cache and one for clearing data. You should be able to click at least one of those to try and clear it out.

Also, what phone do you have?

I've cleared them both.i have a Samsung s5.still nothing

Okay, this makes a lot more sense now.

The Galaxy S5 has been having some issues with the latest update. Check out this thread and download the older version of the .apk

Make sure you uninstall the current version that you have.
