Hi. On 'preferences' you have two options:

Streaming :

Automatic means that music quality will depend on your connection so if you have fast speed you will listen in high quality if you have slow connection it will be a lower quality,

Normal, high and extreme, those mean the quality.

Download

Normal, high and extreme, those mean the quality.

So if you have downloaded music, the quality will depend on what option was selected. In my case I always use for download 'extreme' (mostly when I'm on WIFI) and for streaming I use 'normal' cause I dont want to spend all celular data when moving.

Noticed just now that spotify has removed the function for choosing offline sync quality on android.

How does it work now, what quality are my songs synced on?

As one of the people who use decent high fidelity gear its nice to know that songs are beeing played at best possible quality.

weird thing is that when i wrote the post, there was no option to change download quality, as it had been before, but now when i reopened the program on my phone i found once again this setting.
