Bluetooth disconnects using Spotify on Galaxy Note 5

I recently got a new phone (Galaxy Note 5 from T-Mobile). The phone works fine with my BT headset, and connects with my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Google Play Music works fine with the Jeep. Everytime I try to play music in Spotify via Bluetooth, the song will start (usually) then BT diconnects and reconnects. This happens consistently. I'm running Spotify v3.9.0.965.

I've seen other posts similar to this, and supposedly this was fixed in an earlier version, but it's still happening (at least with the Note 5).

Any suggestions?

it also happen to me, i am using note 5 with spotify version 4.1.0.868 (latest version). Whenever i played music connected to a bluetooth speaker after a few songs it suddenly stop, so ineed to open spotify again for me to play a song. this is annoying to me.
