Spotify crashing upon opening

After updating my phone Spotify crashes after the login screen. It will get to the "running" screen and then close by itself rather than crashing. Was wondering if anyone could help

That doesn't sound quite right.

Have you tried reinstalling your app? If not here's a step by step tutorial.
