The issue was my Spotify was on offline mode so that it could not detect Chromecast. FYI, I restarted my phone before noticing Spotify was offline. I unpackaged it set it up and went to my Spotify application and realized it was not detecting any devices as it would detect my ps3 I understand there is 1st gen support is their support for 2nd Gen.
