Spotify Connect does not work any more after update

I've updated Spotify to the current version 4.4.0.1008 on my android device (s5mini duos). Since that time I cannot connect any more to my Pioneer VSX924 any more. The Pioneer firmware is up to date.

The device is shown in Spotify "Devices available" and then when selected also "VSX-924". When I select it says connencting, but never does. I've restarted both devices several times. Never connects any more.

Before the update it worked properly.

Please fix this bug, otherwise it makes for me no sense any more to be premium member.

I experince the same problem on my Pioneer SC-2023 since three days.

Same applies for me (Yamaha R-N500).

I tried serveral other app-versions (4.5.0.792 beta, 4.3.0.922 stable) and the problem occurs as well.

But: To install an older version, you will have to uninstall before. And all your downloaded tracks will be gone.

Hope Spotify and Yamaha and Pio will fix this soon!

It startet at the 12th of Jan for me.

Hey,

is Spotify now connecting with your R-N500 or not? My connection is still not working yet...

Spotify says it's the problem of Yamaha and Yamaha says it's Spotifys problem.

after updating to the newest spotify version it connects again with my Pioneer. Thx for fixing!
