Inconsistent terms of Premium trial

It states on the mobile page (https://www.spotify.com/us/mobile/overview/) that listening is free, without requiring Premium. When I acquired and ran the android app, it said I had only a 48-hour trial to enjoy listening on mobile, and I see on my desktop app that I have inadvertently activated a Premium trial, which I did not want to do at this time. And why 48 hours? Elsewhere on this site, it declares that the trial lasts 30 days (https://www.spotify.com/us/freetrial/tutorial/).

This is all very confusing.

It is confusing. You're in the US so listening to Radio is free. However, mobile Radio is only available on iOS so for Android the only way to listen is to have a Premium subscription
