Android premium issues

I am trying to download the spotify app on my Android phone and the google play store won't let me, saying it is "not available in this country" but I am in the UK and my phone is a UK phone with a UK simcard. I have just paid for premium and so this is very frustrating! Any help appreciated thanks!

Odd. Where did you register your Google Play account? And what payment country is set in the Google pay settings?

For the time being you can get the app from http://m.spotify.com

I don't have a google play account, i have only used the free apps so far. but i haven't left the country since i bought the phone, so there's no way its registered elsewhere! so weird.. 😞

I'm also in the UK and can see the app in the play store without any issue.
