Mobile App stops audio playback

When playing music from my android (Pantech P8010; Android v4.1.2), after every other song the music will stop playing. The track continues as if it is playing, but no sound comes out. Sometimes I can correct it by hitting pause & then play and it will start the sound again.

Which version of the spotify app are you using? I thought it was fixed in the latest version. Try a clean install

v5.0.0.956. i'll try a clean install after you confirm this version should have it fixed.

Yep, that's the latest stable build. I'm afraid a clean install is going to be the first option to take. The guide details the steps to take to ensure a full 'clean installation' is achieved - This includes checking redundant folders and a REBOOT!
