Hi all,

I have a problem on my S6 Edge, basically Spotify will play a song all fine but will never play the next song unless I unlock my phone and open the app (the app I's still running in the background) I have tried to play with settings but nothing.

I find this happens more in the car connected via an automated cable.

It isn't a corrupt download as I have re installed app multiple times as well as factory restore phone. Any ideas?

Thanks!!

It's just done it now while typing out this and will not play the next song till I reopen app...

That seems to have fixed it. Thank you! Any idea why it would do that and are Samsung aware of these problems?

I'm not sure if Samsung are aware - maybe if enough users raise issues with them they will do something. Essentially it seems they've made their power saving feature very aggressive and kills any app from running unless it's in the foreground.
