Spotify doesnt keep playing if app is not opened

When i am playing a song. The song stops half way and doesnt keep playing unless i open the app. If the app isnt opened and my phone is unlocked then the song will resume play. I am using on a samsung Note 5 withe the latest update. I have tried rebooting my phone, uninstalling the up and reinstalling. Logging out. Logging back in clearing cache. Nothing works. I am a Premium user. Please fix this or tell me how to fix it

Try the following instead -

* Open the Spotify application

* Hold down the power button until the "Slide to power off" option appears

* Hold down the Home Button until the application shuts down

* Open the application account.

You should be able to play tracks just fine now when browsing outside of Spotify on your iDevice. If not, try a clean installation.
