Can anyone tell me how to connect my phone to pick up local tracks of the PC. I don't have a wireless connection but am wired into the same router the phone is connecting to.

I may be wrong but i think you need Wifi to sync your local files from your PC to your mobile. Then you can see your phone under devices on your Spotify client on your PC and sync your local files.

It should work if your computer is wired and your phone on wifi - as long as they are on the same network (connecting to the same router)

In the end good old basic solution. Turned the wifi off and then on again on the phone and the PC client picked it up immediately.
