Why does my phone freeze everytime I use the spotify app?

Hi,

I hope someone can helt me solve this problem.

Everytime or almost every time I use my spotify app, then the next time I push the powerbutton, my phone freezes and wont turn the screen on again. Hereafter I have to wait at least 2 minutes before the phone works again.

This is pretty annoying because I use the app at least 4 times a day and almost everytime the same thing happens.

I think maybe it is because the app is having a delay or is "hanging/not responding"

But why does the screen stay black everytime?

Is there anyone who knows of a solution to this?

Is your app updated to the latest version? What phone are you using? Check your application memory capacity, almost full?

Have you tried making a clean reinstall of the app?

I have the same problem as stated above.

Additionally any time Spotify decides to download songs (from saved playlists I have available offline) it does the same thing. Also when I get in my car and it connects to Bluetooth Spotify causes the same problem.

I have updated the app countless times. I've even uninstalled/reinstalled it. I have plenty of memory available both storage and RAM. The problem is getting exceedingly annoying.

Hello there...I have the same problem. I just bought a galaxy a5 6 and everytime I download or move to the next song like more than 5 five the cell freeze. Soooo annoying.
