Switching the sound quality

Hi guys

I had all my music downloaded in normal quality but I went to settings and switched to extreme quality. Does this automatically change the sound quality of the music that has been in my library or does it only change the quality of the music that I download after I changed the settings?

Hi @Damountje, Yes it only change the quality of the music that you download after you changed the settings. So, in order to get the new extreme quality you have to re download the songs again.

I read somewhere that it also works if you clear the cache via the Spotify app. Is this correct?

By doing that you are erasing all data from the spotify app so all your playlists will be erased and you will have to download your playlists again.
