Spotify skips local file songs (android)

In order to listen to music spotify does not have, I put such music into itunes, edit the info and then add itunes as a source to Spotifys preferences. This works perfectly on my desktop computer and initially works for my android phone too when i sync my playlists (with the local files) over.

However, my problem is that after a couple days the synced local files become unable to play from my android phone, and spotify continously skips them until a "Spotify song" is avaliable.

A playlist full of local file songs will skip through the songs on a never ending loop.

I have been a paying customer for almost 2 years and im tired of deleting playlists and recreating them so my phone can play all of the songs every few days/ weeks.

If this cannot be figured out I will never use spotify again.

Same issue on iOS. Can't play any song that's stored locally from iTunes, and with how much music I have it pretty much can only play their largely inaccurate suggested tracks. And they expect people to upgrade to premium when their app UX is this bad
