Android left hand mode crash

Hi all,

Recently Spotify started crashing after starting up and clicking on whatever(scrolling works fine). What I noticed is that te layout is reversed, I use android in left hand mode. But the thing is that Spotify worked perfectly fine before in left handed mode(whitout layout being reversed). When changed back to right hand mode(normal) it works fine again. Is there a way to stop Spotify from changing it's layout ? Maybe good to know: Nexus 5X, android version 6.0.1.

Hi there,

I had the same issue. I found that changing the phone's language to English solved the problem.

Try to change your mobile phone language to English.

Same thing with Samsung Galaxy S5 (6.0.1) and Force RTL enabled. Disabling RTL was the cure, language was and is english.

Did just try, but it still crashes. It's gonna mess with my mind, but I think i'll just set right to left back to normal until it's fixed 😞 Thanks for your answer though!
