App is force-closing after opening

A few weeks ago my Spotify app started force-closing itself once I opened it and only immediately after I clicked on anything.

I've tried re-installing the app 3 times and rebooting my device after each re-installation. I've also tried plugging my device into my PC and looking at the app files there to try and find some sort of issue but couldn't.

I have a Galaxy s5 with 3.4 kernel software, and my spotify version is 5.8.0

That did the trick, thanks Joe!
Any ideas as to why it was happening at a system level?

Looks like they introduced a bug a couple of versions ago. Hopefully will be fixed soon. Keep an eye on that thread.
