I switched to Spotify as I just found Google Play Music too frustrating. I downloaded 482 songs to my Android phone and let it go for 24 hours and the orange marker never moved. The volume would vary greatly from song to song. The only reason I tried this was I installed Android for Auto in my car. Google Play Music came preloaded so I thought this was my only option. I now found Spotify works with Android for auto. The sound in Spotify is so amazing I'm hearing notes in songs I listened to for over 20 years and never heard before. The volume stays steady as a rock from song to song. And Spotify works on Amazon Echo. I got the premium service and am very happy. 🙂
