I just updated Spotify and I have to restart Spotify everytime there is an ad because the ad plays over and over. After about 3-4 songs there will be an ad. The ad plays then stops at the end. I hit the play button and it just replays. The only way I can get out of it is to restart Spotify then I get the same thing everytime. It's frusterating. I listen to Spotify for music not listen to the same ad replay constantly.
