Spotify keeps crashing randomly

Hey guys. Recently Spotify has been crashing a lot. I use Premium, and I want to listen to my music but unfortunately the service is very unstable lately

My Asus Zenfone 2 Laser Z00ED, Android 5.0.2 LRX22G.WW software version.

I tried reinstalling, restarting the phone many times., and the crashes seem to come very randomly. Sometimes when I switch to a new song, or sometimes in the middle of a song.

Do you get an error message when it crashes? Or is it simply pausing and going to the background or is it closing?

today, I think I found the cause of this problem.

Asus' Android lock pattern and spotify can not work together. I close lock pattern, and no more crush. YET

Hi, have you solved your problem, just by cancelling lock pattern? looks weird. I'm having the same problem with my Asus Zenfone 2 as Spotify crashes too often.
