    <description>&lt;P&gt;so i &amp;nbsp;wanted to transfer my local files from my linux computer to my android phone .i made a playlist and tried to sync it with the phone which has android version 6 (marshmallow).files play on the pc but are &amp;nbsp;greyed out on the phone (other than &amp;nbsp;a few songs).i tried unistallling spotify and resyncing the playlists ...didnt work .i have checked about DRM protection .theyre not protected .can someone suggest a solution or should i cancel my premium spotify for google music ? i find it stupid paying for a service and not being able to play your own songs .i was downloading songs from youtube via youtube-mp3.org (mostly) ..someone suggested the encoding might be an issue ..any ideas ? thank you&lt;/P&gt;</description>
