im trying to use a 3rd party equalizer on my G3 which i found on playstore. but nothing happens when i run it, the sound is the same! am i doing something wrong or u have idea?

for example i tried this one

It seems that the issue of the EQ not taking any effect is something related to LG devices. See the below thread where several G3 users have complained about the lack of EQ or the fact that it doesn't take any effect. It only affects LG devices so must be something they've baked into the firmware.
