Are you using a display brightness or filter application such as lux or twilight? If so you can add an exception for the Spotify app in their settings.

Also SU (if you are rooted) can block the pressing of this popup menu

Hello,

I'm using Spotify version 6.2.0.1028 armV7 with Android 7.0 on a Nexus 5X.

I'm unable to utilize anything when selecting the Options button (three dots) on tracks, albums, artists, & playlists.

If I select something, the menu dissapears like it's about to load the next screen, but nothing else happens.

For example, if I want to download a playlist to listen offline, I can do it through the options button or by long-pressing the playlist title & selecting "download", but nothing happens when I do. The menu dissapears & nothing downloads.

But I can download it just fine by tapping the playlist title & selecting the download toggle button.

It's the same for every options menu item.

I've cleared data & reinstalled the app, with no change. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Had same problem on LG G3, gave twilight a pause and voila!

Thanks for that mate, just for curiosity why on earth would a screen filter have an effect? Seems completely unrelated to me. How did you find out that was the solution?
