Restart did not help. I tried changing my password, as I saw recommended in another forum, and, get this: my spotify password for this website was different than my password for the app on my phone. Huh? So, I tried changing my password (from this site), and now I am unable to log into the app with the new password. I unistalled and reinstalled the app. No luck.

Hi,

I just upgraded to a spotify premium account, but I cannot stream anything to my mobile phone (a MytouchQ 4G). I find music but all tracks are grayed out, and I get a 'This track is not available" message when I click anything. My phone is online.

Thanks,

Hi there,

you get that message when your phone thinks you do not have a Premium account. Try logging out and back in a couple of times to see if that makes it wake up and realise you upgraded. If not, log out, restart the phone, then log back in. Hopefully that sorts it.

Thanks! I am trying a restart now. However, I did just notice a message at the bottom of my screen that says 'spotify is offline.' In settings, the 'offline mode' is turned off, and the rest of my phone is connected via 4G. Do you know why the app might still be offline?

Ah that would explain it - you do need to be online. Try the restart to see if that helps. Also any chance you could try wifi?
