Oops, search went wrong

When I try to search the app says "Oops something went wrong."
I have restarted, logged out and in, logged out and restarted, and uninstall restart reinstall.
Version: 6.0.2.1 028 armV7
Phone: Nexus 6P
Android: 7.0

Is this happening every time you search for something or only when searching certain words?

Everything. I have even rerun post searches which had results and the error persists.

Looking back, on the occasions when this error has come up it doesn't look like it was resolved. I suggest you try reinstalling spotify following all the steps at the top of this post. If the error persists, use the online contact form and someone at Spotify can help get this sorted. Already tried the reinstall referenced in that article. Complete with restarting before reinstalling. Thanks though.
