Spotify crashes a few seconds after start up.

Everytime i start spotify on my phone (Nexus 6P) it will load up for a few seconds then close down witht the message "Spotify has stopped."

This happened on my desktop awhile ag but a reinstall fixed that issue.

I have tried deleting cache, reinstaling (clean), and restarting my phone but nothing has fixed the issue.

would love some advise on how to fix

Just to confirm, is this happening over 3G, 4G or WiFi connection? Also, can you let us know what operating system and Spotify version you're rocking? We'll take a look and see what we can suggest.

It only crashes when connected to wifi it works perfectly with no internet connection or on my 4G

Im using android 7.0

and spotify version 6.5.0.1816

and latley it has started happening to my computer aswell

windows 10

spotify version 1.0.39.157

I have tried rolling back to a previous version but evertime i restart my computer it just automaticly updates itself. But when its in the previous version it works perfectly.
