Another spotify being too slow

Hi there,
Its been a couple of months that I've had this problem. Whenever i open the app on my Lg G4 (with the latest updates available) it takes forever to be able to use it, as it keeps loading. Then, when i go for a search, it also takes a long time to even let me write anything. Finaly, once I hit up a song, the buffering is very long and switching songs is misery.

So far, i have tried everything on the website in the help section. That means ive cleaned up the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled. So far no good 😞 Ideas ?

Does the same thing happen over wifi and mobile connections?

Are you storing your cache on an external SD card?

Thank you for the short delay ! Yes it does over wifi and mobile. Im
storing it on my sd card. This could be the problem, althought its a class
10 sd card.

You shouldn't be having this problem on your LG so let's rule out the SD card.

From the Android home screen, tap Settings > Apps.
Find Spotify in your list of apps, tap it. For older Android devices, navigate to Settings > Applications > Manage applications.
Tap Clear Data. If you're using Android 6.0+, tap Storage > Clear Data.
Tap Uninstall.
Eject your SD card and remove it
Download and install spotify from Play

Let's see if things speed up for a while. Assuming it's now running smoothly;

Reinstall your SD card and reformat it as portable storage(back up any important files first)
Go to spotify settings and switch the storage location to the SD card

Hopefully spotify will continue to run smoothly for you but let me know how it goes.

Tried to clear the data of Spotify but it just got stuck there for hours. I
was never able to clear it, so i decided to wipe everything on my phone and
on my sd card haha. Now everything seems to be running smoothly. I'll wait
and see if it does for a while. Thanks for everything !
