That's probably the cause. If you have too little available storage, spotify won't be able to cache music. What device and android version are you running? Is there no way yu can free up storage space?

I have this recurring problem where if I select a song to play, whether in online or offline mode, spotify will play the first second and then mute itself. The song progress bar will continue to move, but no audio will come out.
Also if I manually move the progress bar, the song will also play for 1 second for whatever section I moved it to before muting itself again. It does this whether I have headphones in or not.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Normally it goes away eventually or after I close out the app in my task manager and reboot it, but it's been like this for awhile and won't play anything fully, so I want to get it resolved and not just temporarily fixed.
