Oneplus One Maxx audio equalizer prompt audio skip

Hi all, I'm using oneplus one Cyanogenmod mod os 13.1, non root. The problem is like this, whenever i switch on the audio FX ( equalizer in android), in my case is MAXX audio, it will cause a little audio skip at beginning of every songs if i pressed next. It is about like 0.5 to 1 second of skipping, then work normally again. This is quite annoying. Any ideas? Thanks!

This also happens to me on several Android devices (on my Samsung Galaxy and previously on a LG Nexus 5X).
The problem seems to be with how Spotify uses the equalizer.
On Andriod the Spotify app uses the built-in equalizer in the system, and maybe because of that (it does not have its own equalizer) when the song starts it takes a second or two to assume the equalizer settings.
It's really something that annoys me a lot and the reason I stopped being a premium subscriber to Spotify and I became a subscriber to the Google Play Music service where this issue does not happen.

Only when the Spotify team solves this problem will I once again be a premium subscriber to their service.

exactly. thats why i unsubcribed spotify. I mark this problem to the
developer like 3 or 4 months and they keeping ask me to reinstall the apps.
One of them even mark this problem as solved without guide me through the
solution. Disappointed 😞
