Song is currently Unavailable...

I have been successfully playing local file songs on my android for about 2 weeks, then sudddenly Spotify is saying these songs aren't available anymore...

This now makes it so about half of my playlist is grayed out and unplayable.

If anyone has a solution for this I would greatly appreciate, thanks!

That doesn't sound quite right.
Have you tried reinstalling your app? If not here's a step by step tutorial.

That was the first thing I tried...the songs are local files added to Spotify from my computer. Does this have something to do with the problem?

Yes,this is the issue the songs are saved on your desktop, not on your Android. The files you import into Spotify are not saved across devices because they are 'local' files.

Yes but they were playing on my phone for about a week, then just stopped being available...
