Just play songs in a playlist?

Hi all,

I'm running the (new) version of the spotify app 0.5.2.87 and I'm wondering how I can play the songs of my playlist?

I can't seem to find how to do that, It always just gives me a 'radio based on this playlist'. How can I play just the songs on my playlist (preferrably in order)?

You don't see your playlists in the App?

Tap the :

On the top left corner and then select Playlists.

This should bring the playlists infront.

no, I'm seeing the playlists just fine. I just want to play the playlist and _only_ the songs in it. And no 'Radio based on it'

So far I've only been able to achieve this with disabling all data traffic and then starting the radio. The it's seems to be randomly selecting songs from my one playlist.

I'm sorry, but I don't quite follow what you are really up to. If you can access playlists just fine, what is the problem? If you see a playlist and touch a song you see ON the playlist, doesn't it play? Are the playlists empty? Where do you see messages of the Radio if your not in the Radio mode? Why starting Radio mode if you just want to play the songs in the playlist. Sorry but I don't follow.

This has been puzzling me too.

I've just checked your account and your Premium account should be running just fine. Selecting the playlists and then the track within a playlist should (in theory) play that track. In the below example, "Mouse Round - Here's A Pin" has been selected and is playing. What happens for you? Are you selecting the little "corner" button?

I am able to access playlist, as you suggest. I can also select & play any song , in playlist, as suggested. What I REALLY want is to play songs on playlist, sequentially (top to bottom), but it always plays randomly

I have this same issue!!! Not sure why this is happening. Is someone from Spotify able to take a look into this? This should be easy to fix, but it's really annoying to not be able to play only the musics on my playlist.

Not sure what problem you are having. If you open any playlist and start playing the first song, Spotify will continue playing songs in the playlist order. Just be sure to uncheck the random button.

The problem is that when I open a playlist and start playing the first song, it works just for the first song, then Spotify starts to play a sequence of musics that are not on my playlist, what does not make any sense.

I just signed up for premium and I created a playlist but it won't play when I click on anysong in playlist. It will only allow me to go to play radio. The play shuffle button doesn't work either

I'm having the same problem, I can't play any of the songs on my playlist. I also can't seem to get my playlist from Itunes onto Spotify or the rest of my music from Itunes onto Spotify. But first problem first, how can I get the songs on my playlist to play? Then how do I get those few albums that were transferred from iTunes to play? I can see them, I hit the first song and nothing happens. Well, what happens is the songs from Spotify play but not my library.

No, I never heard anything. In fact, I'm still paying for the service but haven't tried to use it since late summer.

I have long since abandoned spotify due to this.

Thank you all your input, but I didn't seem to get my point across:

All I want is to play a single playlist and _only_ songs from that playlist. Back when I last tried that. It wasn't possible. I'm not sure about now. But from the sounds of the other commenters, it still isn't possible.
