Spotify runs real slow

Spotify runs really slowly, even when off line. Play lists takes ages to load and songs take ages to buffer (timer ticking but no sound). Any "quick fix" or should I unsubscribe?

Well, the "quick fix" would be to reinstall as described here but, before you do that, what device, android version and spotify version are you using?

Thanks for getting back so quick! Forgot to mention that Spotify
occasionally crashes
I am using a Sony Xperia Z, version 4.4.4, Spotify version 7.4.0.1799 armV7

Thanks. Ok, as a first step, follow the steps in the link I posted to reinstall spotify. You will lose your downloaded music and have to redownload it, I'm afraid. See how it performs for a few hours before you redownload music and let me know how it goes.
